History & Mission
GV Christian Center’s founder and Senior Pastor, Gary Morefield, had a vision for a Christian preschool. After much prayer by the pastors and board members, everyone could clearly see God moving us to sponsor a preschool ministry.
GV Christian Preschool was founded in February 1990 and quickly achieved an excellent reputation in the Las Vegas valley. Our parents enjoyed its excellence so much they wanted the same standard for their children as they grew.
In 1993, after years of research, we established the next phase of GV Christian School. We offered kindergarten and continued to add grade levels while maintaining our high standard of education and spiritual guidance.
It's our sincere pleasure to serve you by providing your child(ren) with a loving, safe and nurturing environment. We understand that a new place can be an adjustment for both you and your child, which is why we are proud of our open-door policy. You are always welcome to call or visit during the day. Your child’s safety and well-being are at the center of all that we do.
Purpose
Our purpose is to serve our Lord by providing our community with the best Christian education. We're committed to maintaining the best learning environment to nurture your child’s spiritual growth and social development.
GV Christian School is also a ministry of GV Christian Center. We pray every year that the Lord would bring students and parents that we can minister to. It's our prayer that the unchurched would come to know God’s saving grace. We believe you're not here by chance but by the divine order of God.
